The history of Lekang Group started in 1970 with Lekang Maskin, being a distributor of excavators in Norway at that time. In 1975, we became the main distributor of Fleetguard filters in Norway. Fleetguard filters, manufactured by Cummins Filtration, fit most common engine manufacturers, not only Cummins engines. We therefore have solid knowledge within diesel engine filtration. Today, we are the preferred filter supplier to a number of machine owners in construction and land based industries and shipping companies with different kind of vessels in their fleets.
Only 43% of diesel fuel worldwide satisfies machine manufacturers’ cleanliness requirements for HPCR engines. 75% – 85% of component failures in fuel systems are due to water and particles contamination in the fuel. With biodiesel, the fuel is severely exposed to water penetration and poor winter properties.
We highly recommend 3 stage fuel filtration to meet the manufacturers’ cleanliness requirements 12/9/6 ISO 4406.

Diesel engine filtration is not just about fuel filters. All filter systems and bodywork on a machine must have the correct filter to protect the equipment, maintain productivity and to clean emissions. Just as important, the operator in the cabin must be protected from dust and particles.
