Lekang Filter was established 50 years ago. We are proud of our history. At the same time, we are humble towards customer demands and wishes. Our latest customer survey shows that customers have great confidence in us, and 9 out of 10 say they will recommend us to others.
The Lekang story started on June 17th 1970. Lekang Maskin was established by Rolf Lekang, as a dealer of Sumitomo and JCB excavators. After a few years, the entire family of five was engaged in the business with machines and spare parts sales. Egil Lekang became responsible for filters, and led the development with the Lekang filter system, a filter database with e-commerce solution which simplifies our customers everyday business.
Today, the company name is Lekang Filter, and our core business is quality filters for mobile and stationary machines and equipment in the construction, transport, industry, marine, oil and gas industries. We have technically skilled employees with many years of experience, and a nationwide dealer network. We represent high-quality filter suppliers working world- wide, such as Cummins Filtration (Fleetguard) and Filtration Group (formerly MAHLE).
Lekang Filter is part of the Lekang Group, with 70 employees in Norway, Sweden and Denmark . In 2019, Lekang Group had a turnover of 31 mill EUR. Our owners are Indutrade AB.
Lekang Group share many functions and makes major investments in IT, in order to offer our customers efficient services. Most important for our customers is for us to deliver the right filter at the right time. That is why we are working constantly to adjust stock levels. Today we have Norway’s largest filter warehouse and best service level of 93%.
