AXTech decided to use desiccant air breathers from RMF for filtration of the atmospheric air supply to the accumulator, which is mounted on the 420 t SPS offshore crane.
The cabinet includes 10 pcs KL122R, which has a capacity of 7500 liters/min. In real, they use a maximum of 5000 liters/min. Each filter has 3 micron spin-on fiberglass elements and ZR-gel granules that remove moisture from the air. The filter system has worked smoothly optimally since installation in 2015.
